Our history
From 1958 to today, Podere SalvaFiore has grown one year at a time, staying true to the spirit it was born with: a family trade built on land, patience and continuity.
1958
The origins of the estate
In 1958 Podere SalvaFiore was founded: a handful of rows, plenty of determination, and a bond with the land that is still passed down today. This is where our family's story begins, among the first rows of Sangiovese and Trebbiano planted by hand.
1978
A roof for the harvest
As the vineyard grew, so did the need for a dedicated space: in 1978 we built the storage building for the harvest and for organizing deliveries — a first real step toward a more structured business.
1992
Growing with the territory
In the early 1990s we began working with local agricultural cooperatives, sharing the processing and marketing of our grapes with other producers in the area. A way to grow while staying true to our roots.
2005
The vineyard expands
In 2005 we expanded the vineyard with new plantings of Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Trebbiano and Procanico, bringing the estate's production to cover the full range of red and white grapes we still grow today.
2018
Tradition meets innovation
In 2018 we introduced new vineyard techniques to improve grape quality and the sustainability of our fieldwork, without ever losing the hands-on, artisanal method that has always set us apart.
